  • Juan Gabriel is giving his home a makeover and turning it into his very own museum to showcase milestones from his legendary music career.

Chilean newspaper El Mercurio reported that the governor of Chihuahua, César Durate, said the museum would attract locals as well as tourists and help them better understand the strong bond that exists between the singer and the city.

"The house is extraordinary… It'll only take a few months for the house to turn into the Museum of Juan Gabriel," said Duarte. "It'll be open so that people who visit from the other side of the border can capture the singer's love for Juárez and what it was like for him to live in that city."
