Less Screen Time for Jessica Alba?

• If you're seeing less of Jessica Alba on the big screen, it's because the actress has shifted her attention to the role of motherhood.

  "I used to work basically 11 and a half months out of the year on location and now I don't," said the mother of two at a press junket for her new movie, "Escape From Planet Earth."

  Jessica explains that her priorities have changed since the birth of her daughters Honor Marie and Haven Garner. "Not that I used to be completely selfish, but there is certainly a selfishness that you innately have when you don't have to think about anyone but yourself," she confessed. "But when there's someone else affected by your actions, who exists because you chose to put them here, it makes you think twice about everything."

  While the 31-year-old actress explained that she is very picky about the roles she plays now, she did lend her voice to Lena Thackleman, the villain in "Escape From Planet Earth." The movie opens in theaters on Feb. 15.
